I love that stuff. It's actually cheaper than the Buds and Millers in PA.

Oh man, try the new Nitrous Monster. It's expensive, but worth it. $3 for 12 oz. here in Portland, but for the lucid (almost "high") and energetic but not too energetic feeling it gives you... They taste alot better too. The regular green one tastes lemon-limey. I don't think I could go back to any other energy drinks now. Except Rockstar for Jagerbombs. Mmm...

Well, anyway... My brother and I started off with a Ninkasi Sleigher (see picture link at bottom) which is an ultra-delicious Alt. Drinking the Pumpkin Ale his friend and him brewed right now (picture link below Sleigher) and then moving onto my 6er of Lagunitas' Brown Shugga' and maybe a couple Imperial Red's or a Little Sumpin' Extra!

This is the ("Special Release! First Year in Bottles!") Sleigher...
http://home.comcast.net/~embryoyo/ninkasi-sleigher.jpg
You can't tell from the picture, but Santa is giving the horns with his right hand. I'll admit, the bottle design and "logo" initially attracted my attention, then I realized it's also Ninkasi and they brew awesome beer.

This is my brother Kevin & his buddy Aaron's Pumpkin Ale...
http://home.comcast.net/~embryoyo/kevin ... in-ale.jpg
It has a very smooth texture, lightly carbonated, and pleasantly spiced. The pumpkin flavor doesn't abuse the other flavors at all. I wish more people than just their friends and family could try this one, and most beers they brew for that matter. I keep trying to push them to open a brewery. If only I could fund them, I totally would.

I bought a 2009 Double Bastard as well, but my brother and I are saving it to drink on Christmas.

The only reason it effected me like that was because I drank it so fast. Normally I drink it slowly over the course of most of my shift, and I stay pretty awake without getting too antsy or hyper, but that time I made the mistake of buying it not to stay awake, but just as a drink with some mojos I bought to eat on my break, and I drank the whole can in the span of maybe a half hour or 45 minutes. Maybe less.

I usually skip the hyper stage and go directly to crash. I hate those things.

1 Granville Island winter ale
2 Crown and cokes
