Our newest album, which we were working on for a couple years and has been done for quite a while, looks like it's finally coming out sometime soon on the always supportive Regimental Records. So I figured we may as well finally share some of it with our friends and those who may be interested in it. Here is a link to 4 streaming tracks and the cover art: http://helcaraxe.bandcamp.com/album/red-dragon Some comments about this record: - It is a labor of love, taking two years to write and record. It's broken into 11 tracks, but it's really an uninterrupted 44-minute long piece of melodic and dark death metal, based on The Hobbit, ripe with recurring musical motifs and themes. - Cover art again by Alan Lathwell, who did the painting for "Broadsword" as well. - Track 6 features guest vocals from Mikael Stanne from Dark Tranquillity and they came out excellent. If you're into death metal in the least, check it out. I think this album is far and away the best, most progressive/interesting, and yet also the most accessible stuff we've done. And clearly the nerdiest. Lots of guitar work and riffs reminiscent of Arghoslent and Eucharist. _________________ Helcaraxë - Death Metal since 2003

Awesome! I got Broadsword and the split 7" last fall, both better than the debut which was great in its own right. Can't wait for this.

Glad I clicked the link. I'm not a fan of Death Metal in general, but those tracks kick some serious ass.

I really wanna order that because I love thew two CD's and 7" I got of the band, but man I'm getting tired of having to sign up for every site I want one cd from.
