My sister loves this guy and has read all his books I think. They sound pretty funny so maybe I'll check it out for a change of pace. Finished it last night. It was hilarious.

This one is good though. instantly reminded of one of my major hangups with the series though. the endless list of female names that i have no idea who they are or what they've done or why it even matters anymore. it hasnt even been a year since i read book VIII either. so i'm definitely enjoying this one, but i can't help but be amazed at how little these books have to do with the actual central figure of the saga.

you really read all these, or is this just every book you see?

Finished this today: This is the first Mieville novel I've finished. I definitely enjoyed it, although I would've liked him to delve more into the mythology. Going to start this now:

dirtnap wrote: you really read all these, or is this just every book you see? Yep. Read 167 books cover to cover last year and I'm up to 36 completed this year so far. Of course, the older science fiction/fantasy books usually hover around the 200 page range, so it's not as impressive as it sounds.
