I'm only about 30 pages into this and I've already laughed out loud three times. One of the times I was absolutely cracking up. :lol

My sister loves this guy and has read all his books I think. They sound pretty funny so maybe I'll check it out for a change of pace.

Finished it last night. It was hilarious. :lol

man i've been putting this off for a while now. guess there's nothing to it but to do it. :confused

This one is good though.

instantly reminded of one of my major hangups with the series though. the endless list of female names that i have no idea who they are or what they've done or why it even matters anymore. it hasnt even been a year since i read book VIII either. :lol

so i'm definitely enjoying this one, but i can't help but be amazed at how little these books have to do with the actual central figure of the saga. :lol

Finished this today:

This is the first Mieville novel I've finished. I definitely enjoyed it, although I would've liked him to delve more into the mythology.
Going to start this now:

Yep. Read 167 books cover to cover last year and I'm up to 36 completed this year so far. :D

Of course, the older science fiction/fantasy books usually hover around the 200 page range, so it's not as impressive as it sounds.
