We don't have any freedoms anymore thanks to the last 44 Presidents that we've had.

Then you're REALLY hiding something and won't get hired.

This is the logic if you decline a an employer the ability to do credit check.

I think they do those to see how reliable you are.

But credit doesnt equal reliability. But HR skunks have said you need to explain your credit history in an interview if it is spotty. I think that is pure bunk too. But at least you have a chance... Still, what you do with your money or your free time is your business. I find Facebook stalking and credit checks as equally as repulsive as judging someones sexual preference.

Yeah. It's too easy to fuck up your credit anyway and how exactly are you supposed to fix it if you can't get hired somewhere? The credit system is a scam. It can take 15 years to build it up and one slip up to tear it all down.

What grade does she teach and is she unionized? I would advise her not to quit yet.

just got union certification. she teaches 3-4 year old students with development disorders. 'teaching' in this case usually means trying to get them to stop biting....
she's already got two job offers to start elsewhere immediately.

Okay. Best of luck to her!

I was just going to advise that if she did not violate any agreed social media policy within the school and/or district, she would probably be able to nail some legal action. Especially if there was no social media policy.

You're Canadian right? Canada seems to be MUCH more crazy than even the US when it comes to schools.

Last month a little girl at my daughter's school drew a picture of a gun and when questioned by a teacher said 'thats my daddy, he uses it to kill monsters' and when the guy arrived after school to pic up his daughter they arrested him, paraded him through the school in cuffs, held him in a cell and strip searched him without charging him with anything, took his daughter to child services and went to his home, took his wife and other children to children's services and searched his home without a warrant. They found no gun (which isn't even illegal) just a plastic toy gun.

Really happened. Google Jesse Sansone Kitchener Ontario. Nothing happened and there was no consequences for anyone that caused the incident. Fucking school administration, children's services, and the cops around here are fucking nazis. I wouldn't work in that field for anything.

well, in my friend's case, she works for a charter school. So it's not exactly public. That said, what the school did is still exceptionally illegal, but charter and private schools do play by a different set of rules than you'd find in public.

Ah. Not being fabulously wealthy I wouldn't know about the state of private schools. Of course they'd be better. Public schools know they can get away with shit like this because the people with the means to fight them don't send their kids to those schools.
