i'm almost done making pierogies. i've never made them from scratch before, they look a little lumpy, but i'm confident they'll be delicious.

A BLT almost can't be beat, especially if you have fresh garden grown tomatos. When my parents give me fresh tomatos, I always go get homemade bread from the bakery and get the real thick cut homemade bacon from the local meat market. Along with the tomato, it makes one of the best tasting sammiches ever. Ever notice how it doesn't really matter where you get lettuce from? Tastes about the same store bought or grown in a garden.
