I'm in the middle of listening to Fahrenheit 451 that he recorded himself.

I was shocked to know that he wasn't already dead.

Rest In Peace Mr. Bradbury.

Your books changed my perception of what I thought was possible to achieve through literary devices.
From Dandelion Wine to Green Shadows White Whale, and everything in between.
Your inimitable poetry and beautiful nostalgia will live on to influence hundreds, if not thousands of aspiring writers.

To pigeonhole Ray Bradbury as a Fantasy or a Sci-Fi author is to short-change him tremendously. He didn't write, he painted. His motif was human condition.

He deserved all the accolades bestowed upon him, and more.

Farewell to one of the greats and my personal early idol.
