This is a clip from a live DVD I have of theirs. How well he plays would be astonishing for anyone, let alone when you consider how old he is here.

I think he died the best possible way, as odd as that may sound. What I mean is it's likely he didn't know much about it.

He was also blind in one eye by that stage.

Hell yeah, seems he was happy and looking to the future when he died. That sucks in a way, but is also great in that he wasn't fearing or even aware of his own coming death.
