If you want to (a) buy vinyl or (b) illegally download, check out the new Panopticon, "Kentucky". Was going to post previously but was too lazy/busy. Never was too big on this band before but the new one is great. Wolves in the Throne Room style black metal mixed with American folk. Here's the first two tracks...

Otherwise, I second anything recommended above which does not suck.

CK told me about the Panopticon. From what I heard I didn't care for their older stuff, but the mew one sounded NICE wth all the bluegrass going on. So it's only available on vinyl?

Dark Descent has the Binah album...ordered it yesterday. Good distro too...pretty good service.

If you want some new old-school styled death metal, check out the new Drawn and Quartered...I've been slobbering all over it the past few days.

Also, the new Stonehaven (USBM) is pretty damn good.

And check out Graveyard

You can get both the Binah and Graveyard albums at Dark Descent http://darkdescentrecords.com/store/

How long do these guys take to ship? I ordered on the 26th of last month and it's not here yet?

What type of shipping did you pick? I used priority and got it about 3 days.

I don't know. Didn't pick one. I was having trouble with ordering off his page, so I just sent him my info in a few different emails. I would think even with Media Mail it would have been here.

He gave me the total of the CD's. I looked at the email I did say to send it out Media Mail. I don't know why... I never use that. Also gave him some extra for the extra work he to do in taking the order. I ordered 3 CD's and a 7".

If it doesn't come by tomorrow, I'll contact him. Right when I gave him the info he said "I'll run the card and send this right out".

I don't think I'll be ordering from him again. He sent it out day before yesterday and it's not supposed to be here until the 5th, which means he sent it out media mail. Not a good call when he forgot to send it out for 2 weeks to begin with. :confused

Not really getting into the Binah. A lot of Doom sensibilities. A bit slow for me and one song kinda sounds like the other. It's good, just I don't see myself buying any more of their albums. The Graveyard is frigging awesome though. :headbang
