This just seems kind of weird as this Crimson Glory guy does a clone job on the vocals. I guess fans of the earlier stuff will be a bit happier, but they haven't made an interesting album since O:M II. Even then that almost came out of left field as Promise Land was their last truly decent album.

Wow. They just re-did the horrible Rising West logo and awful photo. That skull is so lame.

But I wish they would have hung it up too. I highly doubt Tatelessryche will do anything worthwhile. After all, the drummer thought the last turd was their best album.

Plus the drummer is selling his custom Rising West drum kit that was only used "OMG, twice" for $7k. This is getting beyond stale. I mean, the Insane Clown Posse may have more class than any member of Queensryche.

Backs up the band's viewpoint. Also, Portnoy and Tate got into it verbally many times on the DT/QR tour so that makes the above statement by Portnoy interesting.

After reading all the court docs, I fully support the band members but they definitely need to get a fucking backbone for real.

I really wish they had just broken up after Empire. Instead I have to choose to ignore the past 20 years. That's not too easy with all of this Tate crap that keeps happening.

The "Tate is a controlling asshole" argument would have worked for one bad album, but they have more crummy albums then they have good ones now. So blaming Tate for everything some 20 years after it started to go awry is The Stalest thing I have ever heard in my life. Is the rest of the band battered wives? Whatever. These guys are done and an embarassment to Metal. Tate can go do his own thing and he'll look like a dick, so fuck him. At least he won't look like a bunch of crybabies.. In fact, he probably had to carry these lame-ass schmucks because they are a bunch of Yes Men who in the 11th hour of what is left of their dwindling career are trying to make a name for themselves by exclaiming it isn't their fault. Really!? Sorry, you dumbasses played on every one of those records and every tour - including the Cabaret nonsense. Now you have some poor sap singing that you will undoubtedly hen peck because you didn't have the balls to stand up to a guy you let be The Boss.

What an Operation:Buttfuck. The last week and a half has proved these guys absoultely suck. Hopefully some judge well tell them all to go fuck themselves for being a bunch of candy-asses and Queensryche will be dead and gone from here on out. I mean, Justin Bieber is more of a man than Tate, Jackson, Rockenfield and Wilton will ever be. Mike Portnoy looks like a scholar! I never said I blame Tate for the past 20 years. I blame the entire band. It's just that this Tate crap recently makes it hard to ignore how embarrassing they are now. They just won't go away. No sweat. The "20 Years" was just a coincidence. But I think the drummer tried to wax that as it was Geoff who caused Chris to leave and blah, blah, blah, Geoff, blah, Geoff.

But this went from a bummer to sad to outrageously embarassing quickly. When Tate said their was business and monetary disagreements it made sense. Initally the remaining band said their were business and personal disagreements. But when they started the "well, actually everything was Geoff's fault" it turned them into a bunch of worthless queers.

Since parting ways back in June, vocalist Geoff Tate has been referred to as the former singer of QUEENSRŸCHE while his ex-bandmates have forged on with the name and CRIMSON GLORY frontman Todd La Torre in Tate's place. Amidst an ongoing court case over rights to the band name and a solo album due this fall, Tate has chosen to move ahead with a new Queensrÿche as well.

He has issued the following announcement:

"I’m sure the last few months have been very frustrating for you. I know they have been for me. There are so many questions and so few answers.

It is said that adversity makes one stronger. Well, I’m definitely in a better place now than I’ve ever been before. I feel very positive and excited.

The challenge, when you’re in a creative environment, is keeping things fresh and invigorating, and after working with the same people for thirty years, it gets very difficult. You walk into the room, and everybody knows what everyone is going to do. There’s no spark, the chemistry is very tried and true and you just keep coming up with the same ways of expressing yourself.

Today is a new day and I am thrilled to announce the new Queensrÿche:
