Official press release:
Eluveitie – famous Swiss founding fathers (and mothers) of the "New Wave Of Folk Metal" – will sweeten your summer with a new CD package over the course of their 10th anniversary.
After the release of their brilliant fifth studio album "Helvetios" on the 10th of February 2012, it's time to take a big step into the band's past now: On the 17th of August 2012, "The Early Years" will hit the stores – a 2-CD-Digipak-bundle that consists of the band's sought-after debut album "Spirit" plus a completely re-recorded version of their very first EP "Vên", which is currently being laid down together with producer Tommy Vetterli in his Newsound Studiop.
Frontman Chrigel Glanzmann states: "'The Early Years' will give both old and new fans access to the very first steps in Eluveitie's history. I can't believe it's been 10 years already! Speaking of that, to celebrate our 10 year anniversary (2002-2012) we wanted to offer you something special. Therefore we have decided to re-record the tracks of our first EP 'Vên'! We had a lot of fun putting those songs on tape again – some of which we have been playing live to this day and that have developed together with us over all these years."

I'll get this for the demo stuff, but I'm pretty sure the rerecording of Ven will suck seeing the direction the band has taken over the past few years.

I might be interested if I didn't already own Spirit.
