This guy went out of his way to try and find something for me...for that he gets hails. I've bought quite a bit from him since you posted about it a while back. So have I. I like that they stock all genres of metal too. I'm starting to get tired of all these metal distros who won't stock anything other than underground, kvlt, bestial black and death stuff. Not that I don't order that too, but it's nice to be able to get stuff like Alcest, Woods of Ypres, Drudkh, Hypomanie, AtomA along with your typical NWN! and Hell's Headbangers type of stuff.

Just too much story and the songs break down (as in they separate and get disjointed, not a "breakdown") into weird segments that kill the flow of the song. Too much like a soundtrack.

For a concept album, it's probably one of the best ever and I give them credit for putting so much effort into it, but most of the songs aren't really "songs." They're narrative parts of the story and the music just doesn't go anywhere.

My initial impression is that it's a little silly.

I'm really just not a huge fan of concept albums anyway. I didn't like the last Orphaned Land either for much of the same reasons. Only King Diamond can do it right.

Dutch symphonic black metallers CARACH ANGREN have premiered the new video for the song ‘The Funerary Dirge Of A Violinist’, which is taken from their 2012 album Where The Corpses Sink Forever. Check out the video shot by director Bradley Harring below: http://youtu.be/hAZd9fM0FgM

The video was a bit awkward but had a certain poetic way about it. The song made more sense.

Figuratively speaking, the offspring of later day Dimmu Borgir and Cradle of Filth would be Carach Angren. Maybe throw a little Bal Saggoth in there as well.
