I'm following Tanning Mom's lead. With a really nice tan, I can probably pass for Mexican.

For years now I've been wondering what the big deal about the iPhone is. After a month of having one I totally understand. It's pretty fucking sweet.

Even though black folks vote overwhelmingly for Democrats, most are church-going, socially conservative Christians. Major pro-gay rights proposals have been voted down and defeated due to lack of support in predominantly black districts. Here locally, several black churches have been holding special prayer vigils asking God to forgive Obama for endorsing this particular sin. They're also voicing their own forgiveness and continued support for the president because they sure as Hell aren't going to vote against him.

haha true. Few blacks will vote against him and he pretty much solidified the gay vote. He has the liberal vote. Romney can only hope he can get enough Independents on his side at this point. This will be an interesting election year - very close I suppose.

For me, the overwhelming issue this election is the economy. President Obama doesn't know the first thing about business economics. Romney does. For this reason alone, Romney get's my vote. I have no way of knowing how well this knowledge will translate into bettering America's economic future, but I honestly don't think he could possibly do any worse.

I really don't like cops. I've worked for the city for 8 years now and have seen their bullshit first hand. Now today my dad gets pulled over for nothing (and nothing is entirely accurate because the stupid fuck didn't even put it on the ticket and ignored my dad's question when he asked) driving my younger brother's car and the insurance is expired. Less than two months. He didn't know and this was literally half a mile from home. He gives him a ticket and then what? Impounds the car. Yeah, has it towed and makes my dad walk home. Nothing else wrong, no expired license, nothing. Didn't even give him a reason why he pulled him over in the first place and it doesn't say on the ticket. Just says the expired insurance. I do realize that it's a law, but how often do people have their fucking car impounded for the insurance being expired? It's not like he didn't have an insurance card at all or that the car has been without it for years or something. It's also a law not to drive a car with expired registration tags, but does anyone get their car impounded for that? My dad has no traffic violations or a record of any type. No speeding tickets, nothing. I'm going up to HR tomorrow to complain about this prick fuck and told my dad to contest it in court.

That's what blacks and Mexicans are for.

But now Romney has declared a "War on Teacher Unions" with some voucher announcement. That makes for two new wars in 24 hours!
