My mom fell... again... yesterday. this time broke her ankle in 2 places. Currently getting ready for surgery to put a plate and screws in her ankle. She has numerous breathing problems so they can't out her under with anesthesia. Doing some spinal cord anesthesia instead and keeping her partially awake.

My mom's breathing is so bad I am almost certain she wouldn't have made it through regular anesthesia. Here's to your mom's speedy recovery.
