It's cooler than our dust storms. Ours are all white-ish color and it near impossible to see when you're stuck driving through them.

The sun is making it appear the dust is more red than it is though. After sunrise the sky went more yellow. Though we do have lots of red soil like this:

I really want to go to Australia someday. I'd love to camp in the Outback. I'd also love to see some Johnston's Croc's.

i just had an incredible blonde moment: i tried to recharge non-rechargeable batteries. now there's all this oily gunk all over the charger and i'm afraid to touch it to clean it out and the cat is terrified from all the loud popping and hissing and exploding noises!

Like I said, that was just me, as I never really went along any path similar to some people that I went to high school with. I will say that it's useful for finding out if you happen to have nephews, nieces and cousins on there, though.

We don't have any mutual friends and we didn't go to the same high school. This was in middle school. I don't know, I guess there could be some weird connection somewhere, but I don't have any friends on there from any school I went to.

I dont have a facebook but from what i can gather, the whole point of the site is for people who never said two words to each other in high school to befriend each other in cyber world...to still say less than two words to each other.. there's a handy dandy "ignore" option for stuff like that  i dont mind it too much when people i went to highschool or elementary school with add me, even if we barely spoke. they probably just want to look through my photos, and i'll lurk through theirs a little bit. if they seem like they've grown into an interesting person i might message them and see what's up, but generally i sate my curiosity and then delete them. no hard feelings. facebook is a really convenient way to share photos, keep peolpe updated of events etc. when i'm throwing a party it's really nice to be able to put all the information down somewhere where everybody can ask questions or make comments about it openly. instead of having to answer the same question a hundred times. more and more i begin to forget about my friends with too much pride to get a facebook or even an email sometimes. some of my friends seem to take a strange amount of pride in how difficult they make it to reach them.... which is fine. just when they bitch about being lonely i laugh, reap what you sew eh?
