Start of a new and exciting decade

We hope all of you – our dedicated readers – are enjoying and making the most of the New Year. 2010 is already a big year for the Psalter. Over the last few weeks, you might’ve noticed the lack of updates and wondered if we’d fallen off the map. Now you have an answer: we’re still here, and now we’re back with a new site and new features, all dedicated to bringing you the quality metal journalism you’ve come to expect from us.

We want to take this opportunity to acquaint you with the new site and introduce you to our new features. We’re really excited and we hope you’ll share our enthusiasm.

At the end of 2009 we doubled the size of our review staff. Where we used to update bi-weekly, now with our larger staff we’ll be updating on a regular basis. That means more reviews, interviews, and field reports covering a diverse array of artists and styles. Come back every day to check out what’s new!

The second new feature you’re reading now: a blog where we’ll occasionally share our thoughts on metal music and culture.

A new feature we’re really excited about is the Emerging Talent feature. Here you’ll find in-depth discussions with today’s most exciting, undiscovered talent. We search far and wide for these hidden gems, and we guarantee that you’ll find them a breath of fresh air.

There are a few new features that make Metal Psalter more interactive for you the readers. The first is our mailing list. Join it today and keep up with the latest news and updates from the Psalter. The second is a Comment feature on every review, interview, field report, and blog entry. Think we’re out of our minds giving your favorite band a two-star review? Let your voice be heard!
